Delaware..

Native Americans called Lenni Lenape lived on the land of Delaware. At first they didn't mind to have the European settlers share land. The settlers gave them goods to pay for the land that they used but the Natives took them as gifts. This confusion cause war between the two groups. The tribe then moved farther away from their home land. More and more European people were coming to explore the land. First Netherland people, then Dutch! They all had their owm land until the Revolutionary War in 1703. The Colony was governed by Pennsylvania before and shortly afther the war. The Colony fought for Independence to no longer be under the reign of the Dutch and English Empires!
